Prioritizing Your Cybersecurity

Protect you from bad actors

Here at Soaring Towers, we take cybersecurity seriously.  In fact, it’s our top priority.  As many of our clients take vacations and enjoy some much-deserved time off, we wanted to share of the ways we protect you from bad-actors.

By default, we block non-US logins for most of our clients unless specified.  We also block logins from datacenters and services that seek to conceal the source of the person logging in.  We do this because our clients generally work at home or in the office and do not route their internet traffic through devices that conceal their identity.

We protect your login from something called “impossible travel”.  This means that if you login from a recognized device in Arizona, for example, and 20 minutes later try to login with an unrecognized device in Vermont, our systems will flag this as impossible.  Until someone informs us of a new method of travel that can make that distance in that time, we’re going to monitor it!

We have advanced phishing email protection in place as most of our clients know, but we also have advanced code in place for all of our clients on their login pages that allows us to monitor if a bad-actor has attempted to create a fake or cloned login page that attempts to trick our clients into logging into a maliciously coded site.  Our code will notify us if anyone sets up a fake login page that has even attempted to trick our users, even if our users have not seen the page yet.

The world operates on a spectrum with security on one end and convenience on another.  We are aware that security policies can affect convenience and apologize if our attempts to secure your systems and data ever inconvenience you or your team.

Rest assured that if you need a policy modified or altered, we are a phone call, email, text, or chat away from assisting you.
